Official Rules of the
Cartoonvision Animation Contest™

1. Contest Format

Cartoonvision Animation Contest™ is an international online animation competition consisting of two Semi-Finals and one Grand Final.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open to animated films, series, and short animated projects from all countries worldwide.

3. AI Content

Animated films created using artificial intelligence (AI) are not eligible to participate. The contest focuses on animation created by artists.

4. Submission

Participants must submit a completed animated film. Scripts or unfinished projects are not accepted.

5. Competition Clip

Selected participants must provide a competition clip (1–3 minutes) based on their animated film.

6. Usage of Content

By participating, creators allow the organizer to use clips, images, and promotional materials from their animated film for contest presentation and promotion.

7. Voting

The contest results are determined by a combination of jury evaluation and audience voting, each contributing 50% of the final result.

Jury Evaluation:

The professional jury evaluates each animated film based on the following criteria:

Each jury member ranks the participating films, and the combined rankings determine the jury points.

Audience Voting:

Viewers can vote online for their favorite animated films. Audience votes are converted into the same point system as the jury.

8. Winner and Recognition

The animated film with the highest total score in the Grand Final becomes the winner of the contest.

The next edition of the contest will be held in honor of the winning film, and it will be featured across the contest’s official social media platforms.

All participants will receive an official certificate for their placement in the contest, regardless of the final results.

9. Participation

Participation in the contest is free and voluntary.

All decisions made by the organizer are final.
